Rhipsalis are epiphytic chain cactus, which attach up into the trees in the wild. They grow with orchids and are a natural for vertical gardens. We have many varieties. They also make an excellent hanging basket that can stand abuse. They are related to Christmas Cactus.
We have had this plant in production for years, with this nomenclature, but in checking various books, we can find no mention of marinerianum. I am guessing it is a form of micrantha Please let us know if this is the correct name. We do not remember just where or how this plant was acquired. Could possibly be a Lepismium . These are growing in 4 inch pots. This is for 10 plants which should make a splash in a vertical garden. Could make several hanging baskets with this collection
